| umm, this is mostly based on the movie. I am more of a book fan fic person. For all we know, when it was safe, he may have bathed in a stream, and another thing, it is my belief that those of high numenorean blood did not have to shave because of the elvish blood mixed in. Making them unable to grow beards. Besides Tolkien never mentioned Estel having a beard, stubble, whatever you wanna call it. That is all. I guess the story is kinda funny for a movie based fan fic. We have a Plan! *memo to self: eat not grapes whilst reading this tale as one may verily choke!* I am loving this, especially such things as "with more pong to his person than a wet wolfhound in high summer humidity". What an olfactory image (if such be possible?) that conjures. Dearly as I love my wood-elf, I know his dark thoughts and you have captured them. Keep writing! | Oh man. I can't possibly read Chapter 2 without a smirk on my face. Reading this is just too much fun. It's got to be illegal somewhere. Mae-what-you-call-your-Govannen I loved that! And the description of Legolas' bouquet redolent of a bright spring day in the forest, with notes of citrus and honeysuckle! Oh my, oh my. *fans self* And another great line: Persuasion of that level of force is not legal in Imladris. I just might have to steal that one in addition to the one from Chapter 1. Ah, forget it! I just might as well steal all the lines from this story!! | |
