| Faramir! I would have suspected this of Boromir, in awe of the 'hero' in the tales, whether he admitted in front of his father or not. To see this type of passionate disappointment in Faramir is a testament to how seriously the Gondorians took their battle stories. Author Reply: I can see Faramir hearing conflicting stories and asking for 'the truth' and not being happy with Denethor's version either. Yes, I think Gondor had to take battle stories very seriously. Thanks. | |
