| The Evenstar will have her revenge. I like the monster - the candles are a particularly clever touch. However, I suspect Arwen will remember that trick and its perpetrators - and be only too willing to assist in bringing them to their knees. The war is escalating - as is the way of wars. Elrond may have to bring in the UN peace-keeping force to hold the two sides apart. | |

| “I need a drink,” he said. Lol! What Rivendell needs is a conflict resolution mediator. Have a nice little meeting where everyone sits down and discusses their feelings and what they're thinking. Then Elrond can give them all a good dressing down and send them to their rooms for a week, until they've learned to play nicely. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing what the hobbits cook up next. :D | |

But Aragorn should be very careful now, as well as Legolas and the twins! The Lady Arwen should not be underestimated! And I wonder what might happen, if Gandalf accidently stepped into a trap laid out for others ;-) This story is getting better and better! I really enjoy it :) Author Reply: I imagine that the makers of the trap would find themselves in the shape of newts, or somthing, were Gandalf to get caught by accident. That could be funny. Arwen is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Poor boys. ^_^ | |

How long will Elrond put up with it? How long will *Gandalf* put up with it? As for me--I'll put up with it as long as you want to keep it going. *grin* Author Reply: Aragorn is definitely in trouble. I can't imagine how long Elrond and Gandalf will put up with it, but I can't imagine they're very happy with the situation. You, this was originally supposed to be four chapters long.
