This is a very good beginning. I don't blame Faramir at all for wanting the truth of things. He has a right to it after all. I am glad that Aragorn is willing to allow him this. Author Reply: many thanks for your much appreciated review. I feel that the longer Faramir had to wait, the worse it would be for him and Aragorn is wise enough torealise this.

I was glad to see this re-posted and have just spent a happy time re-reading it. Oath taking scenes always make my heart skip a beat and your are very well done. Happy Christmas-tide Linda. Didn't think at first I'd read this, but I recognize it now from the other site. Faramir has a great deal to learn of his new liege, of course. Author Reply: many thanks for your much appreciated review. This is indeed on the other site, but I polished it somewhat before posting here.I am also currently completely rewriting "Shadow and Thought" as the first version is so dire!I hope to post some drabbles soon.
