Okay, now--having my favorite future king tied up in an Easterling camp isn't my idea of how to treat him. Looking forward to Treco assisting them somehow.

I couldn't access your Chapter 2 at ffnet but I can read it here, and I'm enjoying this story - although it's so frustrating that the dragon and those two missed each other! BTW - I was the one who reviewed as Legolass Q at ff.net - I have to use the Q there because - bleeah - Legolass was already taken :-( Author Reply: FF.net can be very frustrating sometimes. Thank you for liking the story enough to search for this chapter to read. :o) Treco and our heroes have not parted ways permenantly. You can bet on that.

Oh! those two are always getting into hot water. They must be jinxed. And to miss Treco by half hour. What a shame. But we wouldn't want your story to end to soon. So continue at your own pace. I like the interaction and friendship between Aragorn and Legolas. Not too mushy, but with the right amount of warmth. Very believeable. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Robin Author Reply: Think of all the great stories we'd miss, if those two stayed out of trouble. As for Treco, you know we're not finished with him yet. I'm glad you like my portrayal of Legolas's and Aragorn's friendship. I always thought there was the potential for a lot of humor between them with a deep-seated brotherly love backing it up. (I think it was summoned up perfectly at Aragorn's coronation in ROTK, when he put his hand on Legolas's shoulder and simply said, "Thank you.")

Never a dragon around when you actually want one eh? Good stuff. TBC - Yes pleeeeese. Author Reply: Isn't that just the truth? More soon.

I missed that you'd posted a new story! I like this, and I particularly like Treco. I've always liked dragons (an Anne McCaffrey fan), and was rather sad that Smaug was so evil. I'm looking forward to what you do with this tale! Jay Author Reply: I've always loved dragons. I wanted to write about one that was endearing, not evil like Smaug. Aslo after the trauma of my last story, I wanted to do something in a lighter vein. I hope you will like where this goes.
