This was a totally fascinating and most enjoyable read. It was wonderful to see Frodo happy for a change. I am truly sorry to see it end. Author Reply: Thanks so much Tari! But there is much more where that one came from. There's "Bear me Away" a sort of prequel, and "Light from the West" a companion-piece to both, and "West of the Sun, East of the Moon" the tale of Frodo and Sam's reunion in the west. And even a couple of sequels to those, although they do not involve Frodo so much. Nearly all my LotR fanfics are interconnected in some way or another. Thanks so much again for commenting Tari! Playing fairy godmother to Frodo was such a joy, I rather miss it sometimes. Armariel ~~~~~{~@

I have *no* idea how I missed this lovely story before, and I'm grateful to Larner for showcasing it. You know how happy I am when Frodo finds healing and joy, and this is a magical, gentle, loving story. I'm glad I read it. Author Reply: I'm glad you read it too dearie! Thanks so much! It has been a joy playing fairy godmother to him...LOL Larner's version still takes my breath away! ~~~~~{~@

I enjoyed this one very much as well! It's really interesting to read those 3 different stories all on the same events, but focusing on different parts. Very good! ~ swg ~ Author Reply: Why thanks again! Pssst--you can see the stories on my website with illustrations at http://delroz.bravepages.com/elves/dreamflower.html (in case you didn't know that already!) This was the first one of the trilogy. Another strange and offbeat idea, but one that wouldn't leave me alone. So glad to please! hugs Armariel~~~{~@

As I promised, I went directly over here and started reading this story. And I found it fascinating! I remember the old tale of one of the Tooks, who went off and married a fairy. But I would never have thought that the same thing could happen to Frodo! At first I thought, she was really dangerous, but it turned out, that her lack of human feelings was due to her immortality. And that changed completely after she was married. I'm glad, that they both found happiness and good old Sam came just in time to see it all. He's still struggling with the "Mr.", isn't he ;-) One last question: How do you know, that I come from Germany? Must be my English ;-) Anyway: Vielen Dank für diese schöne Geschichte! Author Reply: hi Andrea! Sooo glad you liked it!! I got the idea well over a year ago...and I kind of shoved it onto the back burner and forgot about it for a while, maybe didn't think I could really make it work. Then I found the plot-bunny about the dolphins, and then I thought, well...I suppose they probably don't have fairies in the Blessed Realm, but what if she came from the sea and was a sort of mermaid or water-sprite? And then I remembered about the Took ancestor taking a fairy-wife...and so the story started taking shape. Wasn't even sure when I started writing it whether it was going to end up being tragic or happily-ever-after...and of course I decided on the latter course! I'm sure Anemone would have ended up being dangerous if she had not acquired a soul, however, at least to Frodo, and without actually meaning to be. I thought of the faery-folk as having the sort of simplistic emotions as animals have, but with superhuman powers, and that could end up being truly dangerous to humans. I suppose maybe she's a sexier version of the Little Mermaid and Frodo is a smarter version of the Prince LOL Yes, old habits die very hard, especially when you're old yourself! lol Your English is fine (better than my German;))--it was the gmx.net in your email address that gave you away! I have some German friends who have that provider also. My best friend in the whole world is Germany (she's with t-online, however) and I got to visit her 4 years ago in Waldheim, near Dresden. It's a piece of paradise! Thanks sooo much for reading and for your lovely reviews! Umarmungen, Armariel~~~{~@

That was amazing! You had my mouth hanging open on the last chapter -- with joy for Frodo and Sam and amazment again at the fairy-dance! I don't know what to say! That was just gorgeous. Author Reply: Thank you, thank you! Couldn't very well end it without a genuine fairy ballet, now could I? Hey, did you notice I named one of Anemone's daughters after you...sort of? lol Sooo glad you enjoyed the story...now I can get started on your birthday piece........*gggg* xoxx Armariel~~~{~@
