Vinca would be the hobbit version of an arch nemesis for Pippin LOL He just can't believe that *anyone* would be crazy enough to court his sister, much less Ev. | Haha. I think their courting is sweet. I can't see why Pip has such a problem understanding that. Of course, it's Pip. He's fallen victim to Vinca's pranks too many times to think she can ever be straightforward about anything. This was good, and I'd like to see more of Vinca and Everard actually courting. I think it would be fun. Author Reply: Exactly - Pip has been through hell and back with his sister. He's finding it difficult to believe that anyone can be serious about being in love with her, Ev especially. He and Vinca don't exactly have the most romantic of histories, lol. I'm rather afraid to see what would come of a Vinca/Ev courtship fic. I do have that on my rather long list of fics to work on later, so something will eventually get written. | |
