| "I thought him the strongest and wisest creature in all Middle Earth." This is a very sweet vignette without becoming overly sentimental. I think it captures the youg Legolas' POV very nicely. I loved the bit about Thranduil not wanting him to pluck the new leaf. ~TF Author Reply: Glad you didn't find it overly sentimental--I always worry about that when writing scenes like this one.
