| Great debate -- you really let everyone's personalities shine through. I love the poignancy of these lines: [“But we will not remember her for long,” Elladan said thoughtfully. “What?” Elrohir jumped up and faced his brother. “Explain yourself, Elladan.” “As soon as she changes one thing in the past, we will no longer remember her at all for our pasts will all change. | A terribly harsh fate; but at least he is now willing to accept there MIGHT be a future for the two of them. Author Reply: Unfortunatly at Elrohir, its just one more thing he has no control over that brings about loss to him - like his mother's torture, her leaving M.E., Arwen's death, etc etc. | |

| You do a great job in this chapter showing how the decision Laurëanna must make tears up the wonderful little circle of family and friends that she has in Valinor, culminating, of course, with that concersation between her and Elrohir. It is especially poignant in contrast with the beginning of the chapter where we see exhausted Glorfindel and Indil arriving in Valinor and experiencing hope that we know is destined to be destroyed. Angst! Sorry to be so late reviewing this--you know how insane the last week has been for me because you heard the rants. :-) Author Reply: No review is too late. I read your bio and I'm VERY glad your friend dragged you here; SHE'S to blame for my tears! LOL :D This is going to be such an amazing ride, I can hardly wait. Please don't wait too long to post! | I love your portrayal of the developing relationship between Indel and Glorfindel. Perhaps the saddest thing in this story is that if Laureanna succeeds, that relationship will never have existed -- at least not in this form. Of course, if she fails, far worse things will happen -- or will have already happened, depending on your point of view. Your description of Legolas is interesting and quite consistent with canon, I think. It seems to me that the Legolas of the books is often more of a wood-elf than a warrior, even though he is skillful and courageous in battle. The idea that he's an outdoorsman type who just happened to be naturally good with weapons seems to fit. Author Reply: Legolas is a difficult character to write because you have book Legolas, movie Legolas, and fanon Legolas. I have written a combo of movie/fanon Legolas and a movie Legolas but the hardest part is writing book Legolas! | |

This si wonderful but sad....I love Glorifindel and Indil, they are meant ot be together, but willll they truly if time is change how can the love they each deserve be? Elrohir...I feels so bad for him, poor him.... Elrohir loves his wife and is heartbroken about what Laureanna. He decision is most cruel she has to make and making it she asks for something to help ease the heartbreak. Elrohir was harsh with her, but he done it out of his love...And can he be right to have her try and have his past self fall in love with her... I was worried and scared for her and you have me to the end....Please continue.... Author Reply: Glad you are still enjoying it. Only time will tell for Glorfindel and Indil. :0) | |
