Ah, the eternal dilemma -- stay in the warm bed, or investigate the breakfast-like smell ... :-)

*Checks blood sugar* OK, lisping Pippin was nearly too cute, but you kept it believable. A sweet job as always. Author Reply: I know that 'my' hobbits are usually *too* sweet and cute, but I do love them that way. Thank you for reading! :D

How adorable! I just want to *squish* wee!Pippin. He’s so cute I could eat him with a spoon! And I liked Frodo’s and Bilbo’s conversation. Frodo’s a very intelligent and perceptive lad, and in this particular case, more perceptive than Bilbo. He somehow *knows* Bilbo’s unnatural youth is a problem, though not why. Very well done!

“That youngster enjoys every experience as if he will not see another sunrise,” Thalguron marveled. “We would all do well to do the same,” Bilbo replied, and everyone nodded in agreement. Amen and Amen! Knitted Pippin likes duckies too, he drew one for me in my 50th Anniv. ed. of LOTR when I met him :) A wonderful story indeed!

Clearly, none of us can resist toddler!Pippin! His baby talk, art skills, full-body wriggling with happiness like a puppy, bag of toys, helping Aragorn ride: he's a irresistible "force." Heh. Sorry that our slumber party with hobbits and rangers is coming to an end. I'm glad to see that Aragorn has picked up cooking skills from his hobbit friends. And maybe they had cunning kitchen gear as well!

Awwwwwwwwww! I'm a gooey puddle now after all that Pippin-cuteness! How adorable to be surrounded by little hobbits! *happy sigh* This was lovely and I thought you handled the difficult conversation between Bilbo and Frodo beautifully. Poor Frodo must be afraid that everyone is going to leave him. Loved Halbarad lapsing into Pip-speak! :-)) And Thalguron carving the duck for his new friend. Love this happy universe and I do hope you write other stories set there. *Off to hoover all the fluff out of computer*

You really should issue 'fluff-buster' alerts for some of your chapters Shire-bound. My computer is so clogged it is stuck on SOA. Not exactly a woeful situation I know but do have RL work to do!

Poor Frodo, he's always being left behind. His parents leave him, then Bilbo leaves him. Then the ring goes byebye once he's hooked. At least he gets his just desserts in the end and does the leaving instead. Though I really wish he hadn't, makes me sad.

Ah, my--so early for Frodo to begin already feel guilt about that horrid thing! But he's the responsible Hobbit I've always envisioned, after all. And love Pippin's ducks!

Awww...I loved how Halbarad lapsed into Pippish speak. (W/thanks to Grey Wonderer for how Pip speaks. :oD ) Too cute!! Poor Frodo, feeling so guilty over almost taking the Ring. It's a very good thing he's got Bilbo there for him. Sigh...Aragorn and Thalugron will be taking Halbarad back to him "Mummy" and that means this delightful story is almost over. :o( Sigh...I love this universe and will miss it when this visit is over. Hope for another one based in this world soon Shirebound m'dear!! Oh and I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to leave a review for the last chapter. The last few weeks have been beyond insane. For the first time, I don't think I can say I'm looking forward to the next chapter, because the next one will be the end. And now...I'm going to go and try to tail Aragorn and Pippin. Maybe if I'm lucky, I can lead them away from the direction of Brandy Hall and over to my place for a visit. ;o)
