| With Sam at your back, you can't go far wrong. As Frodo will discover. Good thing they had Gandalf along to rid them of the wargs - but Pippin has proved his courage now, whether he realises it or not. Two wargs - and he's shed his first blood in battle. Not bad for a tweenage Took. Author Reply: It took Pippin some time to find his strength, but now he knows he's capable of more than he originally thought.
