The terror of being in a world where death is the norm, and death by violence to close to being the norm, must be almost more than she can bear. It is a terrible fate for one born in Aman who had never desired, as had Galadriel, to ever leave it. Author Reply: Like going from Heaven to Hell in one step. | |

I'm really enjoying this story. Laurëanna's pain when she confronts Elrohir again/for the first time is very sad - as is his confusing sense of familiarity. I also liked the flashback to the battle with orcs at Rivendell, and Elrohir's growing recklessness in battle :( I'm looking forward to seing more of this complex situation. I love the segments with Laureanna and her parents and the life she had before... I was afraid legolas wouldn't believe her, and she had to be mean to Gimli... She is scared and she has a burden to carry and guilt if something goes wrong.. Gandalf at least felt something about her that was true... Please continue...
