You bring me tears, Antane, over and over again. I, too have a deep love for Frodo and Sam, and such a fierce respect for their friendship and brotherly love. How could you know my heart so well? Perhaps because you know Sam and Frodo as well as if you dwelled in Bag End yourself. Perhaps because all of us who revere JRRT's work and mighty spirit simply share in his heart, in his love, in his dreams of a world born of Eru, torn asunder by evil indescribable, but destined to return to the original and pure song from which it sprang. May we all rejoice to see that day! -W Author Reply: Hannon le, Westel, so very much! You honor me with your tears. Glad to find another kindred spirit! Sorry for the late reply. I would have loved to have lived in Bag End with our beloved hobbits. What fun! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Oh my goodness! Antane! I read this on another site(yours, I think) and couldn't leave a review! Oh, this is such a wonderful piece of work! Exactly how I think Frodo and Sam would have viewed each other!!! I continue to be amazed at your ability to write touching Frodo and Sam fics!! Keep up the excellent work! Namarie! Another wonderful piece Antane. You have been busy recently - it's great - or have you been keeping all these for yourself? If so then thanks for sharing them. Two things struck me - that the ring melting and Frodo being able to reach up were happening at the same time! That thought has made that scene much better for me. (Personally I prefer book to movie but the movies were good too!) And I know that Frodo is often compared to Christ but in that initial yes I heard echoes of Jesus' Mother, Mary, as she said yes to the Angel. Author Reply: Thank you, Harrowcat! I've only been writing LOTR fic for a little over a year but there's so much you can do with it and I've been inspired a lot by fellow emulators of the master. I came to LOTR through the movies but I love the books too. That's very interesting that you thought of the comparison between the yes's of Mary and Frodo - that had never occured to me before in that way, but now that you point it out, they were both willing vessels of God, even if Frodo didn't know Who he was saying yes to and Mary did. *wipes away tears* beautiful... "When all I wanted to do was die, you gave me a reason to live." My favorite line. Sam is my favorite LotR character, and reading these things people write about him make Morgan a happy girl. :) Sam just....rocks. haha good job! Author Reply: Thank you, Morgan! Frodo is my favorite, but I love Sam to death too because he is love incarnate. I wish I could have my own Sam! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Yes, the hero worshiping the hero, and neither seeing they are the halves of the whole. Author Reply: Hi Larner, yes, Sam would never see himself as a hero and all Frodo would see is his 'failure' but they are both so right about each other. BTW, I looked for and couldn't find that author of Change on fanfiction.net under either of his names. Do you have a copy of the story yourself that you could send? I've also started your "For Eyes..." story and am loving it, though Sam's pain breaks my heart and is harder to take than Frodo's. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
