| Poor estel, growing up is hard...He almost catches his sleeve on fire, not having a good moment...But he came back and faced his fears in spite of it.. Author Reply: Isn't it just! But everything is a lesson to him and he is learning quickly. I seem somewhat fixated on his clothes just now - I am most interested to see at which point he dresses like a Ranger rather than an elf! I wonder what Elrond thought of the transformation. | |

| I remember reading this one at ff.net, but I do admire Estel's courage. It's harder to face humiliation that a foe we disdain, I think. Author Reply: I agree. But the rewards if we do may be greater. I am still tidying up bits and pieces, so this is a cleaner copy than the chapters at ff.net. I hope to catch up all the chapters in due course but life is a little hectic at the moment. | |
