Oh my, this was such an exciting chapter! Totally compelling and tension-filled throughout. I did have that same rather bad feeling about Gishvane that Ridasha did. Why, that horrible Hardishane! She needs to taste the bitter dregs of defeat. And you, naturally, are just the one to ensure that she does! Right? I mean, she is going to have to drink the bitter brew at some point, isn't she? In all seriousness, though, you've captured the *feel* of the battlefield perfectly in this chapter. So much going on, no time to think, people reacting on survival instinct, the rush of events, etc. And what's this she's done to Aragorn? Now *that* was cruel. I just knew those marks weren't put there for nothing. Of course, probably all your other readers figured it out too, but still, I just had to say it. Holy moly! What a position to put Eomer in. This is just too cruel! And Arwen, her connection with Aragorn makes her come to a frighteningly upsetting conclusion. Poor Vlohiri. What emotional turmoil you are putting all of them and us through. You are too good to us, ladies. What an incredible story. Words fail me. Well, almost, that is. Update soon, okay? |
