My guess is that Allaura IS the dragon, but that she needs to feed on the energy of others to maintain her human-like form. Of course, I also thought that John Kerry was going to be President of the United States. So what do I know? Author Reply: I can tell you that Allaura isn't the dragon, although that's a very imaginative idea. I might have gone that way, if I had thought of it. Keep guessing!

Aha--she knows not whom or precisely what she has--merely an Elf and a Dunedan, eh? And she does harvest their strength for herself in some manner using the magic of the jewels, apparently. Interesting. Definitely a form of living necromancer, I suppose. Author Reply: It's true she doesn't know our boys like we do. Has she finally met her match? There's more to it, but you have made a good guess. I'm glad you like it.

Hmm, ranger for dinner and elf for dessert, eh? I could think of worse diets. ~_^ Author Reply: Sounds like a great diet to me, just as long as they aren't gobbled up whole.

She's a vampire who feeds on life force, rather than blood, I take it? Creepy. And where's the dragon? I think Legolas may have guessed ... Author Reply: No and yes. Creepy is good, at least in this story. Legolas has indeed guessed.

Ooh, nasty, nasty, evil lady! Don't you touch my two favourite people! But where IS that dragon??!? Author Reply: I see you don't like her, either. She is very nasty and very evil. Me? I didn't touch anyone. It's her, and it's too late to give a warning about Aragorn. To be honest, it's soon going to be too late for Legolas, too. Treco has shown up already. Think about it.

Okay, I think I get what's going on with the neclace and the effect it's had on Aragorn. He's probably in shock because he knows he's been forced to do something against his will. Legolas has an idea what's causing the booming noise? Is it our friendly dragon? Why and how would Allaura have captured it, though? I'm really enjoying this story and can't wait for more Update soon! Author Reply: So far Aragorn doesn't know what has happened to him. I imagine he will be unhappy when he finds out, though. Good guess. I'm afraid I can't answer your question just yet. It will be revealed later. Thank you. I'm gald you are liking the story. More soon.

Looks like I'm the first review. Yey... ok I love guessing, I hope its not annoying. So if Allura wears the necklace and it touches a man (she's making love with?) she gets his energy. She wants Legolas because he has immortal life and therefore more energy, and the boom is perhaps the actual taking of the energy? It was a husband, but she was just using him to get his energy, and perhaps he's running out. She had to have 'top ups' and is needing more energy now than ever and so she randomly gets cute and energetic guys who are wandering around. Well thats my summary, its probablly all wrong, but ah well it keeps me occupied. I really love this fic, and I'll keep on reading and guessing. Author Reply: Your guesses are not the least annoying. I love to hear what my readers are thinking. Allaura does use the necklace to get what she needs from her victims. However, she does not make love to them. (That's why she had Aragorn leave his pants on.) :o) The booming noise has nothing to do with what Allaura is doing. She was using her husband and wore him out, so she does need more victims. You had some hits and a couple of misses. I hope you do keep reading and guessing - and enjoying.
