Good grief!!!, What a read!!, So much steam, I need to calm down. I read this years ago and came to it again because I remember how much I enjoyed it and now I really remember how hot this romance really was. Thank you for writing. I love this Éomer and this Lothíriel. I can hardly put this story down. Darn having to make a living and be a wife and Mom. 💓

Couldn't stop laughing at her reaction to her first French kiss and how she thanked him for the experience! Poor Eomer's got himself a handful and I would imagine he has very big hands. Their dialogue here is so priceless! Elfhelm's advice was not bad either--in fact it's like the cherry on the cream.

This was very sexy! I've been in New Zealand and Australia without internet access for the last 3 weeks. This was great to come home to. You write these people so realistically.

5. Versuch, ein paar Sätze zu Ende zu bringen, ohne daß mich jemand stört, hoffentlich klappt es diesmal: Schön, daß dieser Abschnitt noch vor Weihnachten fertig geworden ist, ich habe diesmal lieber bis zum Status "complete" gewartet, updates kommen ja nie schnell genug, und über die Feiertage habe ich genügend Zeit - schubidubidei -, mich gebührend damit zu beschäftigen. Andererseits habe ich natürlich schon gespickt, wer nicht, sowohl hier also auch auf ff-net - gegen ein 4. Kapitel von "To become a queen" als Weihnachtsgeschenk hätte ich nichts einzuwenden, jaaaaa? - und kann schon mal sagen, ich liebe die Dialoge und Lothiriels Brüder, außer Elphir natürlich, aber das versteht sich ja wohl von selbst. Fröhliche Weihnachten! Author Reply: Auch Fröhliche Weihnachten. Mir sind Erchirion und Amrothos auch ziemlich ans Herz gewachsen. Vor allem letzterer beginnt ein ausgeprägtes Eigenleben zu entwickeln und verlangt nach seiner eigenen Story. Ein viertes Kapitel könnte evtl. noch vor Sylvester fertig werden.

Boy, is the electricity between the two of them ... electric. And the hilarious thing is that they are both completely denying it! And I just loved the way she completely silence him with the sheer unexpectedness of her remark. “I always thought having another person’s tongue in my mouth would be rather disgusting.” It's one of the things that draws him to her, really. She is unpredictable. Only she could refer to their activities as 'educational'. Perfect time for Elfhelm to turn up. And a perfect person. He can take Eomer to task, but isn't about to start a real furore about the ... shocking events. And he is so right. Eomer can only have Lothiriel as his wife. I wonder how long it will take him to come round to the idea. Your Lothiriel has become the definitive Lothiriel as far as I'm concerned. She's great. Author Reply: Quite frankly: that is what I thought about the whole matter of kissing when I was about twelve or thirteen years old. I just did not blurt it out the way Lothíriel did. - Even if I was tempted to do it.

“I always thought having another person’s tongue in my mouth would be rather disgusting.” ROFL DAS wäre eigentlich die allerletzte Reaktion, die man nach einem Kuß erwartet, oder? Completely unpredictable, indeed! Im ersten Moment habe ich ja gefürchtet, Lothíriel haut Éomer etwas über den Schädel, aber dazu hat es ihr offenbar doch zu gut gefallen! Aber die Art, wie sie erst eifrig mitküßt und dann drüber redet wie von einem wissenschaftlichen Experiment, war wohl auch eine Art kalte Dusche! Elfhelm hat ein Talent dafür, immer dann aufzutauchen, wenn ihn keiner brauchen kann. Naja, besser er als jemand anders ... und immerhin hat er keinerlei Scheu, seinem König den Kopf zu waschen. Denn in einem Punkt hat er recht - das war alles andere als vernünftig, was Éomer da getan hat! Ich bin allerdings nicht sicher, ob das Gerede über die Notwendigkeit zu heiraten und einen Erben zu produzieren wirklich hilft oder Éomer nur noch widerborstiger macht ... Author Reply: Einmal ganz ehrlich! Was hast Du vor Deinem ersten Kuss gedacht? Und Lothíriel ist ein Heiler, sozusagen ein Vorläufer eines Mediziners, und das sind nun einmal Naturwissenschaftler, die mehr oder weniger alles wissenschaftlich betrachten. Im Reagenzglas sozusagen.

This was just a wonderful look at love nearly gone out of control! Eomer and Lothiriel love each other, are perfect for each other, and they're both playing stupid about it.... but then, thats half the fun. :D I love that you made a kiss, what some consider a simple thing, into a very romantic, hormone inducing event. Author Reply: You can control only something you know. Lothíriel and Éomer are suddenly confronted by something they've never before had to deal with.

Zowee! This has got to be one of the best kisses I have ever read about in a fic! Hot and sexy without being at all smutty or disgusting. Bravo! Author Reply: That is what a kiss should be: hot and sexy and nothing else.
