:O Drunk Penny! *snort!* Hee heee!!! oh to have Halbarad there to see it! ::sigh:: And a great big Southern Californian Valley Girl "Like, ohmygawd!" to Rihma... ack! ::dashes up to get right spelling::: oh yea.. Rhimlath's defense of Penny! Galadhrim ROCK! Ok, Lindir does too, and would have defended Penny's honor if not for Rhimlath. But ya know, it's nice to see them both care for her. To borrow (and mangle) a quote from the Princess Bride: I do not envy you, Penny, the hangover you will have when you awake. Until then, sleep well, and dream of .... of.... oh nevermind. ::wicked grin::

Sorry I haven't posted sooner. I have been reading EVERY chapter. I loved how you dealt with Halabrad's (sp and sorry) death. He would certainly be a man who would go and fight even knowing he would die, and he would also still express concern over Penny by having his sons promise to look after her. I think her continued sorrow over his death very fitting, because she feels that she sent him to his death (at least until his son can provide some closure for her). Her traveling to Gondor with the elves is wonderful. I love how she has to cope with her own "real life" issues, as well as being in a situtation that affords litle privacy. I especially love her interactions with Lindir, very funny. Your scene at Cerin Amroth I especially loved. Arwen remembering her moments with Aragorn, while Penny remembers what she has read about this place (Arwen's grave). I especially love the look exchanged between Penny and Awren. I also loved Eldron's reaction to it. Your latest chapter about celebrating with the "Horse Lords" was wonderful. The smell, the reeds on the floor, the unwashed aroma, the, well you get the picture is well written. I am looking forward to the next chapter. Author Reply: Well, thank you for reading and taking the time to review. I am so glad you have enjoyed it all so far. A new chapter is just posted - I hope you like it. :)

I have enjoyed your works so far. Having them posted at such a rapid pace was great. I can't help but think that Penny could have at least some knowledge of modern contraptions she may be able to pass on. At least that is what I would do to improve living conditions. I know this would not be approved of in the fan fic community, as it would not be correct for the LOTR living conditions. Be that as it may, please hurry with the next posting. I think I'm having withdrawls.

I have followed the Penny journey into Middle Earth. I really enjoyed this last chapter and I eager to find out what's in store for her next.

Yay! I can review. I've been reading this story for a week or two (not all in one reading, which is strange for me- normally I read and read and read...) and I'm glad I've taken my time. It's so interesting! I really love it all thus far, and can't wait till the next update. Please continue! Author Reply: Thank you for taking the time to read it all. Ah. The clash of cultures. If Halbarad had been able to see them all, he would have wet himself. Ah, Halbarad. We miss you so. It very nearly flattered them enough to make up for the dreadful walk up the hill. This and the sensitive Elvish noses and the Elvish hair... I love your gentle poking fun at Elves, even if they are darned near immortal and unapproachable by the average mortal. because they had learned Lindir was in charge of the stables of Imladris (and thus he was instantly considered a friend for life by any Rohirrim) One of many lovely details. (last seen surrounded by burly Rohirrim trying to explain to him why downing a tankard of beer as quickly as possible was a really good idea). LOL. The whole party sounds vaguely like a German harvest festival I went to a long time ago. And the grammar gremlin chimes in: were discretely wiping and washing the fruit, the cups, the cutlery and anything else they may need to use. suggest changing "may" to "might" to make verb tenses agree

Oh dear! This is just too hilarious for words...right now anyway! I'll have to come back to it in the morning, but I just had to say--I *loved* Lindir and Hhimlath coming to Penny's defense...
