You have no idea how much this story has been a joy to me. Each chapter just gets better and I find myself rereading each one, something I know that I will continue to do in the future. But, this chapter. There are no words. I can't decide which part I like best. Glorfindel has always been one of my favorite characters, and this chapter did not help that in the least. And I love Elrond's interactions with his elflings. It's so striking to me, especially considering what he went through himself. Your portrayal of him just makes me like him that much more.
