| Frodo, at the moment Legolas kills the first fell beast carrying the Nazgul west of the River. How very hobbity that he thinks to dig down into the earth to hide! And he is so clearly identifying with Legolas and the nature of Elves. |

| What a brilliant Frodo-centric look at an incident much neglected in fanfic. Legolas gets little credit for his feat of slaying the Nazgul's steed and bringing it down, yet it was a mighty shot, and not an unimportant one at all. |
