| A good meeting. He smells nice; he held her nice and tight; she felt safe in his arms. Yep. Promising. She's going to find it hard to remain quite so indignant. Although she will doubtless enjoy the fact that Eowyn was cross with them all for the same reasons. (I won't say that some of Lothiriel's concerns seem remarkable petty. After all, she is young, and good at princessing and she's willing to learn!) Eomer's revelation of a good sense of humour - and a sisterly-trained way of treating females like fellow humans will be a definite advantage to their relationship! “I imagine they would make me marry you.” indeed! The thought of keeping this meeting secret seems to be quite pleasing to both of them. I hope they manage to sort out a few more secret encounters - that should give them both something to look forward to! Author Reply: Yes, her concerns are petty.
