| A wonderful use of the Thomas Aquinas prayer, and a good use of confession. Author Reply: Hannon le, Larner! The prayer is part of what we say after Mass during a monthly Day of Recollection my parents and I go to and when I searched for the text on the web, I found this other one so combined parts of both. | That really is a lovely adaptation of those prayers Antane and perfect for the Frodo in all of us. And I would love to hear some of the verses, especially this one, set to music. | Oh, Antane, how precious, how beautiful! I'm glad Frodo finally told Sam about the desire he still had for the Ring, and as I was reading this I just wanted to hug Frodo and say, "Oh, my dear, you really don't realise just how much you're loved, do you? But just as the song says, nothing you could say or do could quench that love." Oh, I do hope things will get a little easier for him now. Can't wait for more! God bless, Galadriel | |
