| Ah, burrs, stickers, brambles--all a hazard to a race with furry feet that habitually goes barefoot! I like seeing this from Strider's POV. He's going to be interested for several reasons: as an observation on hobbits in general, as a healer who might have to deal with the aftermath if it got too bad, and as their guide, who might have to watch out for anything that would slow them down.
