| Once again, Sam seriously considered slugging Pippin. Does this mean that Sam and Pippin are about to go at it like Legolas and Gimli? This is just too funny. I love the counting of the rain drops. Reminds me of that song, 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. Author Reply: No, no serious animosity between Sam and Pippin. The hobbits took turns with one another, but nothing ever came of any of it. I had my hands full with Legolas and Gimli. And later, with Aragorn and Boromir. | |
