Oh, this is a wonderful series. It sounded as though it would be a little too angsty for me at first, but instead it is uplifting and delightful. I'm very much looking forward to reading more. What perfect timing for a chapter Antane. I have just finished a meeting with a group of people wishing to join our Church and I have been sharing about Holy Communion. The last thing I said to them was how special I found just being in our church when it was dark and quiet. You describe my feelings perfectly and put it in much better words than I managed. Thanks too, to Queen Galadriel for the wonderful songs. You two collaborate beautifully. Author Reply: Hannon le, harrowcat! The church I go to is Byzantine Rite and I imagined Frodo walking in there, but it's *extremely* ornate and I think all you really need is that Presence Lamp and the Eucharist. Wow...that's all I can say for the moment. Anywho, wonderful chapter, as always. Beautiful song, in fact I won't be surprised if the Elves did sing that in the Undying Lands. Sorry 'bout not reviewing the last chapter, but I read over it and just to say wow again. I couldn't imagin the pain of losing someone so close to your heart, even if that person is not dead, it's just the fact of not seeing them for a long time. Author Reply: So glad you are enjoying! Wow! Beautiful, Antane, this is so beautiful! The descriptions...the feeling of hope and joy makes my heart swell. And as you-er, Frodo-described the singing, I could almost hear one pure voice singing something like the tune I'd composed for my part of the song, and when it rose in pitch and vollume when describing the fields and mountains and so forth, it was joined by others. This is my favourite chapter so far. Keep it coming! :) God bless, Galadriel | |
