"So, how about this weather?" LOl That line from Pippin made me laugh out loud. I do think that Gandalf has his hands full with all of the injured. Thank goodness for Sam's soup and Pippin's brilliant conversation! It would seem that Gimli has saved Legolas. I wonder if that will help them to become friends or at least become civil?
Author Reply: I rather enjoyed Pippin's conversation, even if I didn't quite get all the nuances the way I wanted them. It made me laugh, anyway. And I wanted to give Gandalf a big leading role at one point during this story. He doesn't get many opportunities for it once the Fellowship sets out, and then he's lost with the Balrog, so I figured this was his break. |
