Yes, sometimes the familiarity and affection of family can make it perilously easy to let classified information slip...

And Elrohir has no idea yet of how the fate of the Peredhil to love once only will entangle both his little "brother" and his little sister...

An Elf falling out of a tree? Only a pity Gimli wasn't there to witness it :D

before the effort of keeping up with his brother’s words gave his concussion a concussion as well*lol* Nice way to put it! Ah, I loved the banter between the two.

Oh yes, close one. Luckily Estel didn't ask more - it's too early for him to know of his true lineage. Sometimes it must've been difficult for his elven family not to say accidentally something like this ...

Author Reply: LOL, indeed! Though I don't think Estel will let Elrohir forget it anytime soon, either.

Yes, much too early, and one wonders if he didn't have his suspicions at the end. I've seen it portrayed both ways- with him beginning to guess and him being taken by complete surprise. He's a very smart young man, after all ^_^

Great one of the relationship of the twins and Estel. Elrohir almost letting the "cat out of the bag".

Author Reply: Thank you! I suppose there must have been a few times where Estel's guardians almost forgot themselves. :-)

Poor Estel, getting squished by a foster brother! I don't blame him for trying to escape predatory ellyth, though - although showing his caring, nurturing side will only make them pursue him more energetically!

Author Reply: *giggles and hides her Peredhil-seeking goggles* Oh, too true, too true! ^_^ I'm sure some of those ellyth wish that Elrohir had fallen on *them*!

And for which side was it a close one, I wonder? Interesting conversation between two who will see their adar's dilemma played out in their future, one on the giving side, one on the receiving side.

Author Reply: Hmm, an interesting point! And though I like writing about Aragorn and the twins, it's always painful because of what we know will come between them in the future. At least it's not as bad as the grief between Elrond and Aragorn. Thanks, sweets!
