| Well - Gil-Galad would be a pretty impressive person to meet. Any elf, really - but knowing he was there for the War of Wrath and had been king for an age... Gave Elendil a good role-model, though! And everybody is young once. Author Reply: I am actually intrigued about how Elendil and Gil-Galad came to be 'dear friends' (I'm sure they were described as such somewhere). May write something about that in the future. Anyway, I reckon GG probably knew Elendil for most of his life, and so they probably met when Elendil was young. I guess most mortals would be intimidated to meet a High King ^_^ Thank you! | |

PS- Did you mean Lindon? Gil-Galad was the last High King of the Noldor, residing in Lindon for most of the Second Age. | |
