Lovely. So sad, so powerful, so tender. So much in only a few words.

If this were a picture, it would make a nice montage of Eomer snapshots. Lurved it, especially the ones mentioning Lothy. Thanks to you Eomer is my favorite mortal now.

Interesting look at Saruman of the many colors there, followed by Eomer finding himself stirred by the King Returned, the lackluster letter that failed to express his growing love and lust, and then getting waylaid! Poor Eomer! Author Reply: Ha, you found these. I wrote them some time ago but still like the concepts. LBJ

That is a very brave - or very stupid advisor. One likely to wake in the morning with a rather bad headache, wondering how he got to be in a heap on the floor outside the royal bedchamber. I liked watching Eomer struggle over his letter-writing - and ending up by writing about horses. I hope Lothiriel can read between the lines. And the image of the flock of birds, whirling and wheeling at sunset is beautiful. Saruman. Nutty as a fruitcake. But dangerous. Lovely pictures of Eomer's life. Author Reply: Thank you. Your review is, as always, a pleasure to read. I am sure Lothiriel can read between the lines! LBJ

These are beautifully written. I was especially intrigued by this: The fate of the quest teetering on the judgment of one tall Horselord I never thought of that before! That was indeed a very pivotal moment. Author Reply: Thank you for your kind words. I had always thought of this as a pivotal moment - not just for the immediate quest. It began the special lifelong relationship between Éomer and Aragorn which was so sadly ignored in the film. LBJ
