an action packed chapter, eh? I do hope that Treco decides to help Aragorn find Legolas in the end. Like Legolas could be coming out of the room or trying to find a place to hide and he comes upon the elf and... yeah. Author Reply: I sure hope so. That's a nice idea, but I have other plans. You'll see.

Sorry, my bad about the last review. I KNEW that Treco was playing dead, not pretending to be asleep. I guess I wrote that because I was half-asleep at the time and so the idea of sleep was enticing. Haha Legolas was successful in getting away from both Ricard and Allaura, which was something that I think is way too easy because getting away from Allaura was supposed to be difficult or impossible. She wasn't supposed to be that weak, was she? Oh well. And Ricard is absolutely unprepared for the unexpected. Aragorn's plan worked, though that seemed too easy also. I thought that this plan would have a glitch to it, but it turned out to go very smoothly. His idea of trying to finding Legolas was futile, though. I guess that's too bad that Legolas managed to hide from Aragorn, though I thought that Aragorn would notice because of his keen ears too. It's sad to know that he ran right past the elf without any sign. By the way, is your story somewhere close to reaching its conclusion? -Lady Saruman ^_~ P.S. Here's some hershey's for you! _HH_HH__EEEEE__RRRRR__SSSSS__HH_HH__EEEEE__YY_YY__"__SSSSS _HH_HH__EE_____RR_RR__SS____ HH_HH__EE______Y_Y_____SS__ _HHHHH__EEE____RRRR___SS_SS_ HHHHH__EEE______Y______SS_SS _HH_HH__EE_____RR_RR_____SS_ HH_HH__EE_______Y__________SS _HH_HH__EEEEE__RR__RR_SSSSS__HH_HH__EEEEE____Y_______SSSSS Author Reply: Without the necklace, Allaura is just an ordinary woman. She's not even immortal without it. Both she and Ricard were caught totally off guard by Legolas. That's why it was so easy for him to get away. Neither were expecting violence from him. Even Aragorn was surprised at how easy it was to defeat the guards. They, too, were caught off guard (pun intended). I think it may have been impossible, if he had had to fight all four at once. The glitch comes later. Legolas was being perfectly still, barely even breathing, and Aragorn was in a rush to find him, so he couldn't hear anything to tell him that the elf was so close. Why do you ask? Are you getting tired of it? I don't know how long it will end up being, but I can say it's closer to the end than it is to the beginning. Thanks for the Hershey's. I could almost taste them. Sleep depravation can do strange things to the mind. I wish I could put the blame on that. :o)

And now a comedy of doors, is it? Alas, Aragorn and Legolas are just missing one another, and we have no idea where Allaura might be or what she's doing. I do wonder what Treco will do with the four guards. Note--accidently added a k after thin in describing Ricard's slippers. Author Reply: Near misses like that make me crazy(er), but they certainly keep the juices going. Allaura won't be far away, you can bet on that. That will not remain a mystery for too long. Thanks for the note. I made the correction.

Oh what a tangled web you are weaving. No sooner do we solve one situation than the next rears its ugly head. And we are loving it! Author Reply: I specialize in tangled webs. I just have to avoid getting caught in them myself. :o) It makes me happy that you are loving it. Thanks.
