Pride Goes Before a Fall...Or a Farmer's Dogs  by Elanor Silmariën 4 Review(s)
Frodo BagginsReviewed Chapter: 6 on 4/4/2006
This was great, Ellie. Poor Frodo...it is so easy to get into trouble when you're out of sorts. And the Bible does say bad company corrupts good character. It's happened to me a few times. I love your characters, and your writing style. Speaking of, I should go and write that term paper...*blusing*
Namarie, mell min!
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Oh yes, pins and needles indeed! How did you know? I came on yesterday but forgot to connect, so I saw your story near top but I did not get to read the next chapter cause it wasnt there! (Elves are easily confused with theses new age internet things. *Heh*) And this chapter! Fro! You little!..you little.. Lets just say I never thought 'little fro' would learn all this stuff and be SUCH a tweenager. Sam is such a cute lil hobbit. ;) Alright! so when does our dear self-sacrificing hobbit grow up? Keep that keyboard going and going and...
God bless & namarie mellon-nin! -Arwen @ Lorien

Author Reply: I just guessed, mellon nin. Well, us hobbits aren't so far ahead, there's a button that says publish and a button that says preview, and I clicked the wrong one before I had the chapter typed. *Heh* Well, I always thought from certain stories in FOTR that Frodo was *quite* a trouble maker as a youngster. But he does have quite alot of growing up to do, and I have quite a few ideas left, we'll just see where this takes him.....

Oh my goodness, yes! Tweens and trouble seem to imply one another. Setting a whole bunch of frogs loose in the hall...LOL! LOL! Oh my goodness gracious, that's hilarious! I like the realistic way you portray Frodo, and I love Bilbo's fatherly love. Keep it up, keep it up! You know we love it!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Glad you liked it! I'll write more as soon as I can, and hopefully more consistantly than I have been lately!
God bless, mellon nin!

Glad you got the publish button pushed at last.

So, Frodo deserves the title of rascal of Brandy Hall, does he? And setting the frogs loose at a large party was wonderful. Little Bro once caught a number he put in a gallon mayonnaise bottle, setting the lid loosely on it so they could breathe. He wasn't to bring them in the house but did, and set the jar on the shelves between the chimney and the wall.

Mom had a number of ladies from the church coming in, and one of the cats became interested in that jar. Not long after the last of the visitors came in, the cat knocked over the jar, and we outside heard screams as ladies came spilling out of the house and down the hill. It was quite a wonderful show, you see.

Glad Bilbo is finding Frodo amenable to correction. He's a nice lad, he is.

Author Reply: yes, well, i wasn't done typing it yet and accidentaly clicked the wrong button, so I had to go back and finish my typing *hehe* Your story is hilarious!!! Little boys get in so much trouble, don't they? Thanks for reviewing!
God bless,
Ellie
