| Excellent! Just one comment: The wagon came to a juddering halt This is a new word for me (juddering), yet I can't help thinking you might have meant to put "shuddering". "Juddering" is a word, according to the Online dictionary,"jud·dered, jud·der·ing, jud·ders To shake rapidly or spasmodically; vibrate conspicuously: "Edith would watch her wrestling with words, her thin little body juddering with the effort to unlock them" Anita Brookner. n. A rapid or spasmodic shaking. [Perhaps j(erk)1 + (sh)udder.]" Maybe "shuddering" would have been a better choice,though. | |

| The journey proved to be quite taxing for everyone, especially for Pippin and Sam. And thankfully, they have arrived, but whether that rider is a protagonist or antagonist, we readers will have to find out tomorrow or whatnot. This has got to be the shortest review I've ever sent. But, to prolong it, I'll make a list of all the possible riders so that when you reveal the person, I'll get it right!!!! Haha just kidding. lets see... Warning: this list is VERY random and so some people will not make sense at all. -Halbarad -Glorfindel (I have a big feeling about him being the rider) -Elladan -Elrohir -Elrond -Arwen -Celeborn -Galadriel -Thranduil -Eomer -Eowyn -Faramir (Big feeling here too) -Gandalf -One of the healers (Both elven and human) I probably would've missed somebody, I don't know...hmmm... Well, I have a strong hunch that it might be one of the elven folk, or Faramir. I don't know why, it's just my instinct is telling me so. Will I get it wrong? | Gimli is great - “For once, I don’t think a Dwarf could do better!” It's kind of funny that they are hiding from their own driver. But it's not funny that he is prepared to flee, instead of fight (not that I think it will be necessary). Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I always see Pippin as the Hobbit closest to Aragorn and most interested in who he is,for some reason. | |

| Hmm; things go from bad to worse, it seems. Hopefully the mysterious rider is someone who can help - perhaps Gandalf or one of the Elf-twins?
