I hope this is readable--it's hard to type when you're laughing hysterically! Oh goodness, what next? If I were one of those sheep, I'd be laughing, too! And the thought of Merry being reprimanded for bad language by a ew is priceless! That was sweet, how Pippin could manage the flock so sweetly. And such a sobering moment of grief. Yes, when we lose someone and think we're going on normally, that grief will come on us again before we know it. Very well done! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: You know, Your Majesty, I should be thanking you. You are so unfailingly kind and encouraging in your reviews, and so faithful in doing them. As you know, it really means a lot to see the same name reviewing so many times, and know that that person really is enjoying your work. I just wanted you to know how much YOU are appreciated.

I have missed your stories. please continue. I am online from time to time. I will write more personally later. Have a Happy Easter! Author Reply: Hi, GirlofRing! I'm glad to hear from you. I have missed your stories, too, though I know you are so busy with school and work and family. I hope things are lightening up some, and you'll be able to be on-line more.

I remember this one :) I love all the sheep coming to Pippin. He must be a good shepherd :) And I love Merry swearing in other languages! Well done :) Author Reply: Hi, Pearl! It seems right somehow, appropriate, that Pippin call the flock to him with kindness instead of a switch. It just seemed 'hobbity.' Of course, I'm sure the animals responded to his sweet nature, just as we do. He charms all of us, without even trying.

Ah, the laughter of this with the memories of grief intruding as they will. He ought not to have insulted Adeline, there. And I see he's still trying to figure out new ways to increase his pocket money. Lovely tale here. Author Reply: HI again! I really don't know why I think Merry has such an entrepreneurial side. I can't think of any canon to support it. I think MovieMerry influenced the idea - there is just something about those fox eyes. Thank you for picking up on the major thrust of the story ... that grief lurks so close to the surface and can take us unaware so quickly...
