Yes, both sides have learned from this, for Aragorn has managed to prove himself the warrior he must be and the decent individual he must be as well, and Elrond has reassured this beloved fosterling that he does well. Thanks for the story--have enjoyed it. Author Reply: I do like writing the loving father-son relationship between Elrond and Aragorn. In this story, Elrond has to come to terms with the fact that Aragorn is growing up, but he still has to reassure his son that he did well with everything he was facing. I think it is due to the way Elrond handles things that Aragorn doesn't get completely overwhelmed by everything later in his life. Yes, Aragorn has an inner strength, but Elrond nurtured that strength and allowed him to grow into the man who would one day be king. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Misty | |
