| How will Merry manage to get through this? Poor Esmeralda! I do hope that she is all right but just now I am wondering why Merry isn't reacting to his mum's coming awake. I think Pippin and Saradoc are about to have their hands full in a very big way. I only hope the shock doesn't harm Esmeralda more. | Oh dear! Poor Merry--not only dealing with his first anniversary without really understanding what it is, but also with his mother's injury as well! However is poor Pippin going to cope! But I'm so glad that Esme is going to be all right! And the sun buns sound delicious--I've never heard of anything like them before! Author Reply: Pippin is stronger than we think, and more grown up than anyone could imagine I suppose. The sun-buns are delicious so I should try and post a recipe over at Shire Kitchen some time. You can use ordinary wheat bun dough and make them round and have rasins in them, make egg gream and put on top, then when they are baked, mix that flour like sugar I can't remember what's called with water so it becomes paste like, spread around the egg cream and pour coconut flakes on top. Yummy. | |

| Merry angst! I adore your Merry h/c and angst--and with Esmie's condition, the angst really built up nicely in this chapter. :) I hope both Esme and Merry will be all right but the suspense and the urgency of situations make it very intriguing and entertaining. It's good that Pippin knows what's happening... fortunately though a healer is at hand for Merry. Author Reply: It is very good thare is a healer at hand, yes. Thank you for reading.
