I can certainly see Merry finding comfort in comforting another as he could. Lovely imagery here. Author Reply: Hannon le! Yes, I have always pictured Merry (and Frodo) to be a comforter. Thank you for reviewing! Namarie! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

This is very good, Frodo! What's going to happen next??? I loved this line: A friend is always worth time and love. That is sooo true, and so worth it. Lovely story! God bless, Ellie Author Reply: Yes, it is true. Hannon le for your reviews. I'm loving all your stories, by the way. Namarie, mellon nin! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

Well, I hope some will read the reviews. For those of you who do, I just mentioned Halmir in passing one day, and Frodo took him and ran with him. She's done most of the writing, so she really deserves the credit. *grin* Author Reply: Well, ahem, those of you who do read the reviews all know that a story simply cannot exist without an idea, or a plot, and Queen Galadriel has come up with both, and she actually wrote parts of the story (future chapters). So please, disregard her...sweet, but unjust, request for me to receive the credit. And Queen Galadriel, I was tempted to remove this review, but, I can't do that to you. ;) Namarie! Ooooooo! I was so excited to see this! A wonderful beginning, my dear! You really capture that feeling of waiting in helpless fear, and I love the affection Merry shows Halmir. This is my favourit line: He glanced down at the sleeping form. No, not completely useless. A friend is always worth time and love. Well-said, and very true. God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: *bows low at waist* I'm glad you think it's worthy, mellon nin! Halmir and Miriel are so hard because I have to make a personality for them! Oh well, it will work out. I captured the feeling of waiting in helpless fear? Oh, that's very good! I hoped I had, I was nearly braindead when I wrote that. Namarie, mellon nin!
