| Ooh! the plot thickens. Men against men is awful and tit for tat never works but leads to war. So is, whoever is kidnapping the sons, trying to forment trouble? Author Reply: Exactly. Tit for tat and revenge for wrongs play a bit part in the daily lives of these villagers. More will be revealed as the story develops. | |

| Oh dear! What a terrible fight! I am thinking there is some rotted, bitter people here and secret grudges, perhaps many! So if it wasn't the man who took the guys son and destroyed his property--why and who! Cant wait to see! This story is a very origianal story, I bet if you changed characters and such you could write a book from it! Its interesting so far, and its only the second chapter! Cool. I had to change details to make it fit the LOTR universe, but I do agree that this is more a universal story, not one confined to this particular fandom. You're right about the bitterness in this village, you'll see a bit more of that as the story develops. | |
