Poor Faramir. He's doing his best, but the baddies are several steps ahead of him right now. Of course, they probably don't think much of Denethor's less favoured son and think that they can do what they want with him. It'll get worse before it gets better, too! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I fear things will get much worse, but you are right, the baddies are seriously underestimating Faramir. He is a force to be reckoned with.

Whoever has Aragorn is playing for keeps here... I just know that can't be Aragorn... but they killed someone to make it look like him! But why and who is the question... those councilmen? Do they really hate him that much? Poor Faramir... POOR Arwen when she hears of this. Anyway, I enjoyed the chapter very much. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter and promise all your questions will eventually be answered.I fear the lords do hate ARagorn enough to kill him as he is concerned about justice and helping the poor. They want to reurn to Denethor's time.

Ai, such a tragedy, that Aragorn is found in the river and everyone believes him to be dead. However, something tells me that Aragorn is far from dead--only just unconsious to a point where the healers can't detect any sign of him being alive. Since the story is far from over, that obviously means that Aragorn isn't dead, though it may seem like it. However, I do think that the king is seriously ill, probably from a combination of fever and pneumonia, depending on how long he's been in the river. It should be a relief that he was found and rescued, so there would probably be a chance for his survival. If the farmer had not come out at all, then there might have been completely no hope unless some miraculous thing occurs, which is completely impossible. Sorry if the review seems very rushed and irrelevant to you, but seeing as I am reading this at school I've got to hurry. See you next time! -Lady Saruman Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I fear the body is very dead and cannot be reived after several days in the river, but there are plenty of plot twists to come yet !

Where's CSI, or some other high-tech forensic unit when you need them? Poor Faramir, though I still believe that rumors of Aragorn's death are exaggerated, despite the convenient appearance of a corpse with the Ring of Barahir and Aragorn's clothing. I see a bad moon a-rising...Things will doubtless get worse before they get better. Well-delineated tension, as usual. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review, again my first. Gondor needs a forensic pathologist and DNA testing ! I suppose this for Faramir is as bad as he thinks it can get.
