| See! I promised I'd be here and I am. :P I really like this chapter, because (with the benefit of hindsight) it hints at sooo much detail. The smoke coming from the East, the sudden flaring of tempers around Legolas, Mohart's warning - it all clicks together, but only with the knowledge of future events. Whee! Okay, so apparently I need to warm up for longer reviews. Deal with it. :P Author Reply: I was rather absurdly pleased with this chapter, actually. Chapter 9 moreso, but this was a fun chapter, too, because I got to play with tempers. I tried to make the evolution of anger feel very natural, but upon rereads, it's fairly obvious where things start to go downhill. As for longer reviews, the fact that you're reviewing at all is plenty for me! :) | |
