| Oh this is wonderful. I am glad that Merry got to apologise! But... :( you finished a couple of sentences too soon. I want to know just which bit he got to read too...... Author Reply: Heeheehee, sorry about that harrowcat! I've had this story in mind for months now, and never could get it right (it was meant to be longer than a drabble plus). | Aww, how sweet of Merry to apologize to Bilbo for sneaking a peek at the Red Book. I can just picture him getting all worried & Bilbo just laughing it off. I'm in the throes of writing a multi-chaptered story that contains Merry's first glance at the Red Book--thank you for providing me with the kick I needed to continue writing with this little scene. ~Julie~ Author Reply: Yes, I definitely pictured Bilbo thinking it was hilarious that Merry was apologizing for something he did years and years ago.
