Delightful, Lily! Sweet, succent, and so in-character, these two cousins. Thanks very much for sharing this! Author Reply: I'm afraid this review never reached me. I only discovered it today so I'm sorry for the delay of my answer. Thank you very much for reading and commenting. I just adore to see these two cousins together. There are just too few stories with them out there.

A delight, as I have come to expect from you! I like the banter and the closeness. It is so very 'Frodo' - and also, so VERY 'Pippin'! Author Reply: Thank you, dear! You know how much your words mean to me. *hugs*

Every once in a while he would peer into the mirror, his nose almost touching its smooth surface. *chuckle* Well, well, that sounds very familiar to me ;-) I totally agree with the reviewers here: Frodo should be relieved to find the first signs of aging, for with the Ring destroyed life goes back to normal again. I like the title of this little story. Frodo's youthful appearance has become a constant in his life. And what makes him worry is the change. But there is one thing that will never change: Pippin and his teasing :) I think of all the other members of the fellowship Pippin was just the right person, in the right place, at the right time! Thank you, Lily! Author Reply: Ah, but Pippin is always the right person in the right place at the right time - at least when some teasing or cheering up is involved :) Thank you, sweety!

Awwww....so cute and sweet. An unexpected delight, just had to comment...lolol Yeah, I bet Frodo looked good with grey hair, at that........... Armariel, of The Order of the Rosebud~~~{~@ Author Reply: Shurly he would look as handsome as in his youthful time, which lasted, as Pippin put it, long enough :) Thanks for commenting.

Awww...This was delightful. Loved the teasing between the two cousins. However, I especially loved this... A fresh breeze disturbed their curls and yet again Pippin had to smile. The grey shimmer sparkling in Frodo's hair could not be denied. Pippin found that he quite liked this first sign of age on his cousin, a fine match to the thin lines that appeared on his face now when he was laughing. They made him look wiser than his years, just like Frodo's eyes had always done. How perceptive of Pippin. That's not going to keep him from teasing his Frodo though. :oD Thanks for sharing this w/us. Author Reply: Thank you, dear. I think Pippin is a lot more mature and perceptive than what the movies make him be. It's a delight to write him - especially together with Frodo :)

Delightful, Lily! i agree with Galadriel, the signs of aging would have shown him he could now live a more normal life. But the loving teasing between the cousins who were also best friends would never change. Well done! Author Reply: As I said to Galadriel, I think Frodo simply got too accustomed to looking youthful having done so all these years. Yet I don't doubt he is somewhat relieved also. Besides, I needed some teasing - I simpl adore the cousins, especially Frodo and Pippin, teasing each other.

:) I love the cousinly teasing! So cute! I would think, though, that Frodo would be glad to see grey hair since it meant he was truly rid of the Ring. But then, I'm the angst-lover. :) I'd just finished writing a really angsty story, and I really needed this bit of sweetness! Thank you! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: You're correct about the effect of the Ring and though I think he was happy in some way (just not too happy at being teased) I believe that it was also quite a shock for him. After all he has had his youthful looks far longer than any other hobbit and - well, got accustomed to it :) Thanks for reading.
