I forgot to mention that i LOVED the 9 seats at the King's high table, and the flower for Borimir made me cry! It was the sweetest thing EVER! Man, frodo certainly is being morbid! but it adds an interesting little twist to the story so far.

haha this chapter was funny. Same old Frodo trying to get out of taking his medicine! Well this is the last of your amazing stories that I have to read :( so I'm going to red it slowly.

“You tried to get us to eat them bugs and bark enough times,” Sam commented. “Let’s see you put your money where your mouth is. Sir. Your Majesty.” *giggles madly* That whole scene is absolutely priceless. And no wonder that Pippin didn't want to go to the Silent Street! *shudders*

Aww. Poor Frodo. Actually...hiding in a tomb is very smart when trying to get some peace and quiet. But Poor Aragorn! That is so...I would refuse. That just sounds so..so..*shudders*. I love the way you do the Cousins. Very realistic. I am enjoying this story! Keep up the good work. Namarie, God Bless, Frodo Baggins Author Reply: FB, thank you for your compliment on my handling of the Cousins. Professor Tolkien gave us such a wonderful framework, and fan fiction has built on it until we have the delightful, loving relationship between them today. I have to use my imagination; I only had one cousin, which I always thought was very unfair. I'm so glad you are enjoying the story (and lots more cousin-ship to come).

*Snort!* Oh, a NEW Budgie! Ah, bless! I love your perfect mixture of comedy and angst - it's just right - angsty enough to be interesting and yet with touches that put a smile on your face like the 'grey thing' on the plates. LOL! I can SO see the hobbits doing that. Hehehe! I have my coffee and am now finally off the fireline. (thankfully!) *settles in for a delightful read!* Author Reply: You deserve a nice, quiet, comforting read after that! Unfortunately, this won't be it. (I'm sure you are surprised by that.) Thank you for your kind comment and encouragement!

I wouldn't have eaten that sea slug either ! Nice that Aragorn remembers Boromir. Author Reply: Hullo, Linda! That sea slug scene is from an actual experience in my past life ... I wasn't given a choice and wasn't as fast thinking as the hobbits. I was re-reading the SOA quote of the day today, about Arwen's choice to accept mortality, "both the bitter and the sweet." I'm sure that's what Aragorn was thinking as he looked around his High Table, and at the empty seat there.

Oh dear me, Frodo, what *are* you thinking of! He'll kill himself before they get back to the Shire! *tsk tsk tsk* I usually prefer book canon over movie-verse, but I love it when Arwen gets to be a part of things in Minas Tirith for a longer time before the Hobbits leave! :) *shudders* Eeeewwww! A *sea slug*! Oh, oh, I wouldn't wish that on anyone! *going pale* But it *is* funny to see Aragorn actually unable to eat one of his wild delicacies. *giggling* God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Hi, QG! That sea slug scene came from direct, first-hand, unhappy experience. I was a guest of honor at a function and had to eat one. Had to do it, like poor Aragorn. Unlike poor Aragorn, I was horribly sick later. Another instance of real life incorporating itself into our art!

I don't know whom to be most sorry for--Frodo, Pippin, or Aragorn. All of them are having anything but a pleasant feast, apparently. But hiding out in the tomb of the stewards has to be the most unlikely place of all. Now to see how this plays out. Hilarious and tragic at the same time. Author Reply: Ah, Larner, I think you can guess the direction this story is taking (though not the details, I hope)! Set up the readers, a little humor, get them nice and relaxed ... then POW!! Not that I would ever stoop to that, of course. *cough* *looks shifty*
