| very good story! i really like it Author Reply: Thank you, Pippinsgirl! It used to be a "cute" story, as it was my first fic written close to four years ago. Now, its a somewhat better story; after my writing got a bit more sophisticated I moved it over to SOA, but its not near the story it could have been if I had caught a certain error before I jumped the gun and posted it. If I sat here and dwelled on it, that certain error would come back to me, but I have so many other things on my mind at the moment, lol. Maybe someday I'll get back to it and do a third edition. ;-) But I do thank you for stopping by to read this humble little tale. :-) Pippinfan | |

| That was very sweet. Pippin fearing that Frodo didn't recognize him was sad, but it all turned out wonderfully. I hate to see this one end, as I do all your tales, but this is a good place to wrap this one up. Thanks. GT. | Beautiful ending chapter! Loved everything about it. You certainly know your hobbits. I love the fact that Pippin wasn't exactly listening to Gandalf's instructions. So Pippin, that. Also loved how careful and tender Merry and Pippin were with Frodo as he woke up. Sorry to see this one end but this is the perfect last chapter. Author Reply: Thank you, G.W.! | “Anything and everything that we did, dear cousin,” said Merry, “was out of love for you, our dear and beloved friend.” That's a lovely way to finish up! I enjoyed this story very much. Author Reply: Thank *you*, shirebound, for all of your wonderful reviews and encouragement! And for allowing me to use a bit of inspiration from your own tale, "Shelter". I don't know where that line came from, but suddenly it was there, and fit just where it landed. :-) I wanted the whole theme of this story to reflect that of the title.
