Aw! And too quiet too! Nice little look at the twins....

Oh, that was nicely put. Now, IF they managed to stay apart all night, it would be interesting to see them meet again in the morning. Would either of them admit his own loneliness? ~TF Author Reply: If is the big question. Wait and see!

I'll bet they didn't spend the whole night apart. Not for a while. Probably having their own space for moments during the day would be the best thing about separate rooms. But it'd take some getting used to! Author Reply: I'll bet they didn't spend the whole night apart. You're right. I was thinking about this last night, and think there will be a part two very soon!

Poor Elrohir--sometimes things aren't always entirely what they are cracked up to be. Again I am struck by how much you say with so few words. Very dear! Author Reply: Poor Elrohir is right - he wasn't expecting this. I think Elladan will be feeling the same way!

Oh, how typical of twins! Author Reply: :>) I hope so. I'm working on instinct here, but it's how I can see Elladan and Elrohir reacting.

I understand the loneliness, but some nights I'd give anything to get away from the snoring! Author Reply: Oh, I know what you mean! I find a kick on the shin helps :>)

For twins it is always a mixed blessing, a bedroom for themselves and you put it in words very well. Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing! Elrohir is beginning to want the independence of being just 'Elrohir', not 'ElladanandElrohir' - but it's a big step.

Charming! Not just twins, I am sure, but any siblings who have shared everything as little children probably have a few pangs of quiet lonnesome when the time comes to go their independent ways. A nice touch giving them opposite personalities. Tolkien said so little about two people who were part of so many adventures. Nicely done. Author Reply: I love writing about the twins, and have made them both very alike and very different. I like the fact that Tolkien said so little about them - it gives me lots of room to explore.
