The loss of so much of his peace of spirit must have been more than he could endure; and the vigil kept to help him remain safe is touching. Author Reply: Hannon le, Larner - I so appreciate your kind words! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane

Wow! I love this story! You do Pippin's pov very well, especially with this story! It's so sad all that happened to Frodo, everytime I read a story like this it makes me cry. But he's got Merry and Pippin and Sam there to help him through it. This was amazing! God bless, Ellie Author Reply: Hannon le, Ellie - glad you enjoyed! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

I saw this on your site, but I never could link to it. I don't know, though, if it was just me or what. Oh, wow. There's so much I love about this-the memories of when they were younger (esp. the spinning and silly stories and "tickling fest" :)), the happiness in Rivendell, the comforting one another... And I have to say you had me really scared for Pippin there for a minute. Yikes!!! But Sam knew how to handle it. Poor Hobbit, he seems so exhausted, so worn down in mind from trying and grieving because he feels helpless. Everyone was so in character! Pippin's love and forced cheer, Merry's reaction to everything, and of course what they do to protect Frodo and themselves. It's chilling, though, to think that after all the fighting, all the toiling, that they still must be on their guard. God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed, ammelda! I think our beloveds are a bit over their head as hobbits don't normally have to deal with post-traumatic stress but they are doing what they do best - loving, loving, loving. (The link was not active on my site for a long time but it is now). Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
