I liked both of these little stories. I've never read anything before that was made up of only dialog. I thought you handled it very cleverly. I laughed at the thought of Aragorn all dolled up in his orange-flowered circlet, gritting his teeth as his hands drove him mad, trying to maintain decorum. Poor Legolas... what to do? I hope the truce lasts.

AAAAA-ha-ha! Kudos to Thranduil! Aragorn had best learn to keep his big mouth shut; it would save him a good deal of trouble. No one slights the Elvenking and gets away with it. "Your father scares me." How eloquent! Loved both of these ~ what an intriguing way to tell a story!

Poor Aragorn! I liked the different style these two stories were in. Avon

"I don’t want to look foolish wearing a poorly made circlet" - this is a great line! It made me laugh out loud. Poor Aragorn. He has no idea what Legolas is plotting. And another great exchange -- "Besides that. Will your father be satisfied?" "Most assuredly." What a wonderful use of dialogue to tell a tale. This was a terrific way to start my day.

My God!! I can review!! (Sorry, it's not worked before ...) Ahem. LKK, this was great, a lovely follow up to the previous story. I love the exchanges between Legolas, Aragorn and Thranduil, and the orange flowers. I think my favourite line is Legolas': "It is unwise to describe the king as ‘feminine’ within his hearing." Oh, my, I bet it's not! Much as I love Thranduil, I would *not* describe him as feminine ... definitely not ... Well done. Jay
