I found this via Dreamflower's "remix," and she gave me the link because I wanted to know the rest of the story. Poor Pringle, the children were being awfully mean! But it's more understandable now why Pippin was so sharp with his words about her. That's so interesting, I don't think I've ever read a story in which Pip has the second sight! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Thank you very much for reading! I loved the remix - Dreamflower showed the other side of Aunt Pringle by revealing her thoughts and I was flattered that she chose this story to do. I am fascinated with the Took Sight and have been experimenting a bit with that, and this OC. A new story I am working on, "Turning Points" will explore Pip's discovery of the Sight in great detail. I've taken it down for some revision, but hope to have at least the first two chapters up again very soon. Thank you again for reviewing!

I love the sound of Auntie Pringle - she seems like a real character! I suspect I shall be an Auntie Pringle one day............. Fascinating to have the references to the Tookish second sight and to Pippin's reluctance to deal with it. Children hate to be different. Looking forward to more about the batty Took aunt - she's my kind of hobbit!

I really enjoyed this, because Aunite Pringle has become quite a favoourite even though she is usually only mentioned rather than being a major character in her own right I can sense Pippin's concerns he knows he has second sight and obviously worries he might turn out the same and Merry's views were very interesting and shows what a caring Hobbit he is more soon I trust possibly from Auntie's pov?

Oh poor Auntie Pringle. I would just love to hear her side of this story. And poor Pippin. no wonder he is not sure that having The Sight is such a brilliant gift.
