| Oh how sweet! I love seeing Fathers and Sons show love and affection, especially Hobbit ones! :) This double-drabble could actually be made into a short story: a study of the emotion of return for both Pippin and Paladin. What a wonderful way to start my Sunday morning at work! (someplace I don't want to be on sunday morning! LOL ) Author Reply: Thanks so much! I also adore loving relationships between parents and children. I was thinking about expanding this tiny ficlet to include the first thoughts of Eglantine and the Took sisters when they see Pippin again.
