How did I miss this one? Must have been when the ISP from Mordor took over and I couldn't even get online at all for so long! Wonderful means of getting through this dilemma! Poor Pippin! Having been through fertility counseling--in our case both my husband and I each had our problems, which added up to only one possible conception that I couldn't retain--I feel with the two of them. Oh, how realistic this is! Author Reply: Thanks for the comment Larner. Yes, this one has been up here a while, but it is still one of the stories I think about most. I'm actually working on a sequil, but it is not going real well at the moment.:) I'm glad you found the story realistic. Of all my close friends, I'm almost the only one who "didn't" have fertility problems. I had my best friend in my thoughts when I wrote this. I think that because I knew so many people facing this situation, I had always thought that Diamond was the one with the problem. The germ of this story had been in my mind since I was in highschool at least. It wasn't until Pippinfan1988 started poking at the bunny that it got written. I couldn't quite figure out the basis of the problem until Easter morning, 2006. All at once in came to me. I'm glad I was here by myself because I blurted out,"It's not Diamond, it him!"; and the story almost wrote itself from there. Thanks again for reading.

I enjoyed reading you story of Pippin and Diamond and their quest to have a baby. Aragorn was great in trying to get to a solution, in a very embarassing situation. Author Reply: Thanks for taking the time to read and leave a comment. I'm glad you liked it, and I'm glad you liked Aragorn. Chapter two should be posted either later today or tomorrow. GT.

Quite likely that reproductive issues are Pippin's problem - he was badly injured. And a good job that Aragorn is super-healer in his spare time - if anyone can sort the problem out, it'll be him. I wonder if, once they have one child, and the pressure on them is relieved, Diamond will find herself pregnant again - it seems to happen that way so often. (And often more than once, too!) Author Reply: Oh, I'm so glad this seem plausable to you. For years I'd thought about this and always thought it was Diamond, and then it hit me that Pippin had been so badly hurt that it had to affected something. I'm going to post part two soon, so I don't want to give too much away so I'll not deal with the issue of more children just yet. Thanks for reading, and thanks so much for the review. GT.

I love Aragorn and Pippin stories and this was very touching, the way the King and Queen help with kindness and tact. You also deal very tastefully with a difficult subject. Author Reply: Thank you. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I really love Aragorn as a healer, and it only seemed right that if the males were having dicussions about such things, then the females should be doing the same. I wasn't sure anyone would accept my take on this situation. I'm glad it held up for you. GT.
