Am trying to get caught up after a few weeks absence from the Net. Well, this one is coming along at last, and appears to have a core of decency in him after all. Aradhel doesn't sound any prize--he'd do better indeed to go after the jewel rather than the rhinestone. Author Reply: I know what it is to do without a computer! Fortunately for me it wasn't for so long! Oh yes...Rudharanion--I'd have given him a shorter name if I had known he was going to stick around for so long, but I wasn't planning on bringing him back at all after his first appearance. But he kept popping in, and popping in...and popping in again! Some people just don't know when to leave! But I guess that's all right, the story needs a "growth" character to provide some drama and teach our hero a thing or two about himself. And I'm sure Frodo will help him earn his "jewel" in the end!

I absolutely love love love this story! I've never read a story that went so in depth of Frodo's life in Valinor. Please write more! ... will it ever get to when Sam comes? ~ swg ~ Author Reply: Hi SWG and thanks for reviewing! Actually I don't know how long this one will keep going, for as long as I have inspiration, I guess. I've written two other stories of Frodo in the Blessed Realm, "Bear Me Away!" and "Anemone", in case you don't know already. Those are on this site also, and this one is a companion-piece to them. After I finished them, I got to missing that universe, so I decided to write more...and "Light from the West" was the result! It was meant to be a series, but behaves more like a serial at times, so I suppose that's what it is. Whether it gets to Sam's arrival remains to be seen. He does appear in "Anemone", so it's for sure he WILL get there. Thanks once more!:):) hugs Armariel~~~{~@

Rûdharanion is going to dump Aredhel for her great-grandmother? That's not going to do the poor girl's ego much good! Perhaps Frodo had better pick up the pieces and direct her mind down rather more worthy paths! She's certainly a bit spoiled and brattish, but she can't be that bad - not if she's been brought up by Salme. And spending time around Celebrian and Galadriel will be good for her. Give it a bit of time and the changeable Rûdharanion might change his mind back again! Author Reply: Maybe he will, maybe he will...he's a bit undecided at the moment (not being the most resolute of souls)! I'm guessing Salme is going to get pretty popular very quickly and might like to have some fun and make up for a bit of lost time before deciding on a suitor, and at this point I don't see her settling on Rudhi...and I've a feeling Aredhel will realize soon that she's not the center of the universe after all and may seriously consider cleaning up her act, and then...well, yeah. It could happen. Maybe. Yeah, I've a feeling there would be plenty of trouble in paradise if he threw her over for her grannie...(but wouldn't Bilbo be tickled pink...heheh!) We'll just see, preciousss! Stay tuned..... ~~~{~@

Ugh, I had just washed my hair! Cute! :) I am glad our dear one is healing a heart much like his own in some ways. He may have never been physically raped but he was certainly spiritually, mentally, emotionally... And it's good that Rudie is seeing sense too. I'm glad Frodo is there to help. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: I think our hero is gradually forgetting himself in his zeal to help others. Good and practical way of dealing with a troubled past! But I think I'm secretly hoping Rudie doesn't become TOO sensible...wouldn't know what to do with him then;);) But I'm guessing some fur is gonna fly when Aredhel finds out how he feels about her grannie.....maybe......! We'll see, precioussss! hugs Armariel~~~{~@
